Manufactured in 1967. Three sets of round blued superposed barrels serial numbered to the gun, one 2" 12-bore set with wide vented matte rib and twin white beads, both chokes improved modified, breeches engraved with chiseled foliage scrolls. The second 32" 12-bore set also features a wide rib, twin white beads, both chokes full, and breeches engraved en suite. The final set is a 28" 20-bore with vented matte rib, twin white beads, and engraved breeches, chokes are both improved modified. Blued and gold inlaid boxlock actions featuring detailed Midas grade engraving, including chiseled relief scrolls and scene of three gold inlaid and engraved pheasants in flight on the left side surrounded by a gold inlaid border, the other side with three gold inlaid ducks in flight with borders en suite. The bottom features a framed gold-inlaid grouse in flight, surrounded by relief scrolls and triggerguard bow inlaid with monogrammed initials "MFH". Both sides of action signed by Browning master engraver "A. DIERCKX" near bottom corners. Features include single gold plated trigger, short tang, ejectors, and non-automatic thumb safeties/barrel selector. Highly figured varnished walnut stocks with flat knob and Browning brown buttpad. Shaped checkered panels around wrist and on forearms, one forearm on 32" set of 12-bore barrels with a fluted forearm. Complete with large Browning light brown vinyl covered case made for three barrel set, faux sheep skin-lined partitioned interior, includes two keys. Excellent condition, showing little use, overall. Barrel sets all retain 98% plus blue finish with very light wear from forearms and some light edge wear on ribs. Excellent shiny bores on all sets. Action retains nearly all of finish with some minor losses to finish and freckling along borders of wood and action, as this is in the saltwood range, however, forearms show no signs of saltwood damage. Trigger retains all of gilt finish. Stock very good with a few light storage marks, top of wrist with a small dent to checkering. Case excellent with some storage marks and light scuffs. This is an excellent high grade set and a fine and master engraved Belgian-made Browning!
