Manufactured 1863. All matching numbers including wedge. The '61 Navy is one of the harder to find Civil War era revolvers. It has the round streamline barrel similar in appearance to the 1860 Army with an 1851 frame, six shot, single action, one piece walnut grips, original nipples, brass trigger guard and backstrap. Has a 90% roll-engraved Naval battle scene on cylinder. Sharp New York barrel address. All metal is basically a grey patina, with razor sharp legends. Grips are very good with chip on right side bottom forward toe. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Strong, clean bore. Far above average 1861 Navy Civil War revolver manufactured mid-war.
