This model was manufactured only from 1956 to 1961. Featured the high comb stock design, five shot rotary magazine, half length stock, double set triggers and butter knife bolt handle. All metal wears its original high polish blue finish. Walnut stock is checkered with pistol grip cap and forend tip. Sports sling swivels. Rifles were manufactured in Austria. Considered some of the finest bolt action rifles in the world. This rifle is chambered for the very scarce .244 Remington cartridge. Barrel retains approximately 98% of the original high polish factory blue finish with light muzzle wear. Has a ramp sorting front sight and folding leaf rear sight. This fine rifle is topped with a Williams quick detachable side mount and wears a Redfield 4x12 scope. The wood is near mint with a couple minor dings. Magazine is stamped "Stoeger Arms" and is thinning a bit with some light age freckling. Fine bore and action. Standard cross hair optics are perfect.
