This rare short barrel revolver was manufactured in 1883. It has seen very little use with the exception of the cylinder, which represents most of the wear, original nickel is approximately 90%, the etched panel 41 with scarce 2-1/2” barrel shows only some light muzzle flaking. The cylinder retains approximately 85% nickel with balance blending perfectly. The rear of hammer still exhibits generous nitre blue. Standard six shot, double action that works perfectly with excellent genuine period ivory birds-head grips. This rare revolver is housed in a custom oak case, beautifully made with accessories. One would be hard-pressed to find a better example of a short barrel, etched panel, period 41.
