Mfg. 1884. Standard features: 28” full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting front sight, 1876 dated ladder rear-sight, blue finish, walnut stocks with rifle butt. All metal surfaces are a mix of blue and plum patina with flashes of brilliant blue in protected areas. Traces of case color on hammer. Walnut stocks are very good to excellent, proud to metal with usual nicks and bruises from use. Small nail-head size hole on right forearm (easy fix) Rifle does have a special order adjustable trigger. Action is fine. Very good bore. Nice honest example of a big 76 rifle.
