This gun was manufactured in 1917 and is a standard model with 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case colored finish and Colt gutta percha rubber grips. It exhibits all matching numbers on frame, trigger guard and back strap as well as the number is etched in right grip panel. Revolver has survived in fine, all original condition. The barrel retains approximately 90% plus original blue with slightly less on the ejector rod housing. Cylinder has high edge wear and remains at 75%. Trigger guard is about 75-80% and back strap is a blue brown patina. Near mint bore and locks up tight with four perfect Colt clicks. Hammer and frame retain at least 75-80% colors, some quite bright. Overall, a fine all original pre WWI Colt in untouched honest high condition.
