Also referred to as the Vest Pocket pistol, manufactured 1865 to 1888. Has the "REMINGTON 1861" stamp on top of frame. This example is in beautiful condition with nearly full coverage engraving with scroll, leaf and punch dot. Nickel plated and polished gun metal where missing. Excellent walnut grips. Fine working order. Visible rifling but poor bore. Comes in a period walnut French fitted case with replaced screws with miniature cleaning rod and ammunition. It appears the case was not made for this gun as it does not fit particular well.
