These revolvers were manufactured from 1868-1875 and due to Smith’s patent on the bored through cylinder, they were widely used in the early era of self-contained cartridges. Both guns are in the scarce high polish factory blue finish with 3-1/2” barrels and chambered for the .32 rimfire long cartridge, five shot single action spur trigger with rosewood birds head grips. This model also features the fluted cylinders and round barrel with rib with case colored hammers. Both operate perfectly and have clean defined bores. Both have nice traces of darkened color on hammers and the blue on both is bright mixing with plum to a very homogeneous look, overall at least 75-80 bright factory blue, and grips are excellent. Serial numbers are 93124 and 102394. They are housed in a period oak display case with faded red velvet lining and French fitted. There is a partial box of later .32 short Remington ammo and two wood handle tools. No key.
