The factory letter lists this rifle, serial no. 141677, as being shipped on October 31, 1907, as a 33 cal. rifle with plain trigger, checkered walnut deluxe stock with pistol grip, half magazine, shotgun butt with rubber buttplate and takedown. In addition, it sports a scarce “Slidin” Lyman Model 21 receiver sight. The barrel and tube exhibit approximately 80-85% original blue, starting to mix with plum. The sides of the frame retain 60-70% of the bright original blue with fine traces of color on lever and hammer. Beautiful checkered deluxe wood stocks are proud to metal with excellent fiery grain. Fine action and strong bore. Barrel length is 24” with standard light weight half magazine. Wood has some very minor storage marks.
