The factory research states serial no. 317647 was shipped August 1, 1906, as a .44 caliber rifle 1/2 octagon, with plain trigger, checkered pistol grip stock, flat-top sporting rear-sight with Lyman hunting front-sight, 2/3 magazine, shotgun butt, and rubber buttplate. This gun remains as it did at time it left the factory and sports an older Turnbull quality restoration with just some light flaking on left side of frame. Otherwise, the gun appears as if it was made yesterday. 99% proper quality blue finish, near mint deluxe pistol grip, checkered walnut stock, beautiful 100% case colors. One beautiful .44 caliber deluxe Model 1892.
