Manufactured 1912. Features high polished blue finish with Nitre blue small parts, Type D left slide marks that began in 1908, standard right slide mark. Pony in circle on left rear slide used until 1912. Colt grips are gutta percha with pony in stylized "C". High polished magazine, not two-toned with seven view holes. Has the serrated magazine catch release. "VP" with serifs on left trigger guard. Retains approximately 85-90% original charcoal blue. Much original blue remaining on other parts. Grips are near mint. Perfect action. Strong bore. Comes in a period vest pocket holster.
