Often referred to as the Knuckle Duster Model, it has the May 10th, 1904 patent brass knuckle adapter applied to frame. A nearly identical model can be seen on page 84 in the book "Iver Johnson" by Goforth. Image No. 6 shows a near identical gun, with the exception that this is a safety hammerless model. The special features are could the Bourne Knuckle Duster. Mr. Bourne has signed the rights of this attachment to Iver Johnson. Total number of safety automatic revolver equipped with this feature is unknown. Most were manufactured between 1904 and 1910. It is a scarce feature. The gun is a standard nickel plated, top break, hammerless, five shot, double action, with blued trigger guard, and pearl grips. The revolver retains approximately 95% or better original factory nickel. 90% bright blue on trigger guard. Near mint pearl grips. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Strong, rifled bore with just some minor black powder abrasion. Extremely rare, high condition Knuckle Duster.
