Manufactured by Mauser for the German military, the G date indicates manufacturer in 1935 while Germany was still attempting to vale increased weapon production under the Versailles Treaty. Features: 4” barrel, 9 mm, blue finish, straw small parts, checkered walnut grips. Serial no. 4077. All matching numbers with the exception of the wood grips which are stamped "M54". This pistol comes with two magazines, both of which have matching numbers and are number 1 and 2. (Arsenal numbered to match). The inside front grip strap has an Imperial Eagle with number "1089" which matches the second number on both magazines indicating Navy dock number. Pistol retains approximately 98% arsenal re-applied blue with minor high edge wear and some thinning on grip strap, probably done when issued to unit. Excellent grips. Fine bore in action. Comes in a modern carry case.
