Serial no. 282290 is not etched on the bolt and was manufactured in 1953. It is chambered for the desirable .257 Roberts cartridge and sports the standard 24” round barrel with sporting front sight and folding leaf rear sight. The stock is checkered with plain pistol grip and has the pre-war style straight comb with checkered butt and sling swivels. The floor plate and trigger guard have silvered out. The frame is thinning but still 75% intact. Barrel retains approximately 90% blue. Fine action. Strong rifling. This would be a fine shooter.
