Reintroduced in August of 1946 and built on the square butt N target frame with five screw, 'S' serial prefix, pinned barrel, Patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, six shot, double action, blued finish, and case colored hammer and trigger. Trigger shoe added. Matching serial number on cylinder and barrel. Manufactured 1946 to 1949. Revolver retains approximately 95% or better original factory blue with just some minor high edge and muzzle wear, and a light drag line. Strong colors on hammer. Grips are not numbered to gun but are a pair of early black disc silver medallion diamond checkered walnut "Coke Bottle" grips in excellent to near mint condition, that have a value on their own of $400-$600. A very scarce revolver with only 2,326 manufactured. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Strong, clean rifled bore.
