Comprising: A) Double barrel shotgun made by John Thomson, converted to percussion. Round Damascus steel barrels with solid rib inscribed "Makers to his Majesty, Prince Street Edinburgh". Flat lockplates scroll engraved and and both marked "JOHN THOMSON/EDINBURGH". Engraved steel furniture, patent breech, and double set triggers. Numbered 1020 under barrels. Partially figured walnut half-stock with checkered wrist and wooden ramrod. Good condition, barrels detail much of the re-applied Damascus finish, locks retain a freckled grey patina, locks converted to percussion. Stock refinished and has a few scattered marks. B) Belgian percussion shotgun with Damascus barrels with solid rib inlaid "SUPERIOR TWIST". Scroll engraved percussion locks and steel furniture. This rifle was restored in 1977 by Bob Crawford. Checkered walnut straight stock. Very good condition, barrels and locks retain a grey patina with some freckling, especially around breeches, barrels with some denting. Stock excellent as refinished and rechecked, a few light marks. This is a very nice lot of muzzleloading shotguns in nice condition.
