The walnut stock has a perfect "JSA" 1899 dated cartouche on left side with serif "P" on wrist. Stock is in excellent condition with usual minor bumps and bruises. Frame is mottled gray. Magazine is brown freckled patina. Barrel is a blue-brown patina with light age freckling. Action is perfect. Strong, riffled bore with black powder abrasion. Nice, honest example with an exceptionally nice stock.
