Manufactured in 1927. This shotgun was a presentation to "BILL FIZKE FROM GIB SHEPARD IN 1938", (engraved on barrel). There is some paperwork with this gun stating he paid to have the chambers cut to 2-3/4” shells. Has 30” blued barrels with raised rib retaining approximately 90% original factory blue. Retains 75% bright case colors on top and side with thinning on base, 50% fire blue on trigger guard. Excellent walnut checkered pistol gripped stock with plain cap and an old Noshoc pad. Beavertail forend is unusual but the wood and checkering matches the stock. Double set triggers, standard ejectors. Lock up is tight as new.
