This shotgun is a very special order. Beautiful Damascus patterned barrels, built in 1918 which would have been a special order at this late date. The pattern is amazing. Barrels measure 30” with full matte rib, perfect ring tone, no dents, mirror bores, perfect lockup and a natural metal color. Inside frame is stamped "no 2" for grade 2. Frame is engraved with pheasants on all sides. Traces of original case colors, bright in hidden areas. 30% original blue on trigger guard. Double set triggers. Beautiful deluxe checkered walnut stock. Dog head buttplate. Splinter forend. Stocks are beautiful but the checkering is wearing thin in a few spots. Lock up is like new. This beautiful grade 2 (GH) special order Damascus steel shotgun has been wonderfully cared for.
