This beautiful shotgun was manufactured the year after Remington took possession of Parker. It is standard in all respects. All matching serial numbers. The barrels retain approximately 95% original factory blue. Beautiful engraved box lock frame retaining approximately 80% colors turning brown patina at forward base. The rib on this shotgun still has the Parker address. The engraving consists of wild fowl on both side panels and base with simple scroll border. The pistol grip stock with cap has the skeletal butt plate and ID shield engraved "TOM R BEES" with Parker Brothers grip cap, double triggers, and auto ejectors. Wood is near mint but does have few minor impressions displaying beautiful grain. Locks up tight as new.
