Manufactured in 1888. Standard features on the musket were round barrel, three bands, bayonet stud, military style rear sight, carbine buttplate with trap door and two sling swivels. This is basically a no finish rifle that was well taken care of. The frame has some flashes of blue in recesses, but like the rest of the gun it is basically a gray-brown patina. Razor sharp legends, excellent walnut stocks with minimal bruises, strong clean rifling and perfect bore. Very clean 1880's 1873 musket.
