This rifle was made by BSA (so stamped on left rear band) with "A.G. Parker Birmingham" stamped on receiver bridge. The commercial high polish factory blue finish with no brass sight disc on front portion stock of rifle. Also features the Parker Hale long range rear sight and front sight cover. Dots not have the military markings and retains about 95% of the original commercial blue finish. Still has early Mag. Cut-off. ATC Hale merged in 1936 with A.G. Parker who had been making target shooting items for BSA for years. 90% commercial style blue and excellent commercially finished stocks. Has the Parker Hale number 5 rear sight and Parker marked front sight protector. Has "BSA" stamped on side band with crown and "GR". Nice example of pre-1930 target BSA military style rifle. Missing the original bolt but easily found as it takes a standard model. Strong bore.
