This rifle was manufactured in 1905. It is one of the two early carryover black powder cartridges and as such, is extremely difficult to get in this model. Features: full round barrel, dovetail front sporting sights (no ramp) with the Winchester sporting rear sight, blue finish and walnut stocks with rifle butt. The barrel retains approximately 75-80% original blue mixed with patina. Both sides of the frame and magazine retain approximately 40% of original blue, some brilliant with age freckling. Equal amount on the other side of frame, stock is very good to excellent, well fitted but does have some chipping on forend. Very nice early 95 in rare caliber. Fine rifle bore with light ring near muzzle.
