Another trap gun from the John Evans collection. This shotgun was once owned by Roger A Smith, whose name is engraved on the trigger guard. Smith was another championship shooter who began his career in Kansas in 1967. Like most trap shooters of the era, a Cutts compensator was installed either by the factory or after market, usually after market. Features a vent rib that is coming loose in a couple of places. Barrel retains approximately 70% blue. The left side of the frame has 85% blue, while the right side has about 50%. Tube is marked trap. Excellent checkered walnut stock with straight comb, pistol grip cap, and Pachmayr pad.
