Manufactured in 1971, this shotgun was rated one of the world's greatest shotguns. Round blued steel superposed barrels with vented matte rib with orange fiber-optic bead, flared breeches. Stainless steel sidelock actions, both engraved with scattered sprigs of scroll engraving and marked "P. Beretta" in script. Features include a cross bolt, ejectors, single trigger with crosshatched face, and non-automatic thumb safeties. Blued and engraved opener, safeties, and triggerguard, bow inlaid "TRAP" and tang inscribed "SO4". Oil finished walnut stocks, Monte Carlo buttstock with right palm swell, checkering on wrist, and over-sized Kickeez recoil pad. Fluted and checkered forearm with Deeley release. Barrels retain 98% blue finish with a few scattered light marks, actions excellent with a few light scratches on right sideplate. Stock has a few light marks and one crack repaired from back of right sideplate to back of action tang. This is an excellent and high quality competition grade trap shotgun.
