These scarce arms are a featured chapter in Chris Curtis’s book on the Lefaucheaux style revolvers. This pair of arms are made of brass and the first of this type we have seen. Both feature 3-1/4" barrels, one round and one octagon. Both are 7mm, double action with folding triggers. One has a set of ornate gutta percha grips while the other sports walnut handles. Both have a proof mark for made in Belgium and both need a tune up as they do not index. An unusual pair of Civil War era brass pinfire revolvers.
