The Josef Pitrmann Company (JOPI) of Germany created a dazzling array of teddy bears and other animals. The period of the twenties and thirties was the company's golden age and during these decades bears of great quality were produced. JOPI bears have a soft, charming expression, bright glass eyes and an "endearing" look. This 17" tipped mohair 1920's teddy has large ears, excelsior stuffing, a squeaker in his torso and a "take me home" appeal. Some typical uniform wear.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 17" T.
TIPPED JOPI BEAR.
