A nice pair of original dolls. The 1039 has blue flirty eyes with silk eye lashes. She has a couple of very minor white cheek specs. Body is an original finish with working mechanism. The DEP, marked on the rear of head "DEP" with rubber stamped "Tete Jumeau 8" is on a later style French body with original finish. The clothing appears to be original but is soiled and wear. Both retain sandy colored wigs. There are no apparent hairlines, eye chips or damage.
