The first doll is a Simon & Halbig 1079, marked "15" on rear of head. Brown glass sleep eyes with nice even bisque. The body appears to be in original finish. She is dressed in an antique white dress and a blond mohair wig. The head appears to be free of hairlines. There is some wig chipping in rear. The second doll is a large Handwork 79, marked "17-1/2" on the rear of the head. Bisque is even and smooth, blue glass sleep eyes, with a very fine, curly mohair wig. She is dressed in an older white outfit on a fully jointed composition body that looks to be in very nice original condition. Both heads appear to be without damage other than wig chipping of the first doll. CORRECTION: The tallest doll is approx. 35 inches.
