This contemporary trade musket is copied after the early 19th century trade muskets and has been aged to have a very authentic and period look. Three stage smoothbore steel barrel with threaded removable touch hole and English style flintlock trade lock. Brass furniture including the classic serpent sideplate and an iron triggerguard with over-sized bow. Full length walnut stock of familiar form with relief carved tear drop around barrel tang.
Complete with leather sling. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod. Excellent condition with some light wear and spotting on lock. Great for a reenactor or for an authentic looking and affordable example.
