Gun (A) Pre-war Fox Sterlingworth 12 bore boxlock side by side with double set triggers, splinter forend, pistol grip walnut stock and composite buttplate. All metal is basically grey-brown patina but has a very solid and tight lockup. Checkering is worn on wood with a hairline crack on forend and two major putty repairs on wrist. Fine bore and action. No wiggle. This is an excellent restoration candidate as metal is extremely smooth with no pitting and function is perfect. Gun (B) Lefevere 12 bore boxlock with double set trigger and checkered walnut stocks. Dull blue patina, having been re-blued at one time. The lock is basically brown patina. Gun has all matching numbers. Stock has been refinished. The pad is dilapidated. Nice clean bores and locks up tight as new. Great shotgun as is or as another restoration candidate.
