These forged iron Republica Mexicana spurs have 3/4" heel bands with a stippled pattern on the outside heel bands and traditional diagonal striping on the inside heel bands. Rattlesnake shank with 2-3/4" diameter early clock gear filigreed flower pattern rowels and small swinging buttons and rollers. The embroidered cactus fiber spur straps are worn with come crazing. Extremely rare. Circa 1850.
