A classic fortune telling arcade machine, given an oriental Asian appearance. After inserting a nickel, patron must wait for the golden pointer to stop spinning then match the number on the chart with the pointers location on the dial. There are one to twenty-four fortunes the patron can receive from "You will soon go on a long journey." to "Your health will remain vigorous to an old age." The cabinet is oak with a hand painted dial and two Chinese figural characters position on the left and right side of the gold pointer. The paper marquee is original to this machine but there is evident water damage along its base. Manufactured by C. Palash of Brooklyn, NY. in 1930, stamped on the coin insert. Two keys are provided.
