This lot is a life-sized bowling alley, manufactured by United in 1954, one of the rarest of all ball bowlers. Made to look realistic with authentic bowling action and swiveling pins, the machine took two years to develop and construct. The lane stretches to 16 feet long with an automatic ball return and designed to eliminate noise. The concept is the same as a traditional bowling alley- strikes, spares and gutters. Operates on quarters, allowing up to 6 players. An awesome and highly desired piece for any vintage gaming collection. Comes with the extremely rare 8 foot extension which allows the game to be 24 feet long.
