Vibrant coloring, virtually no fading to cloth outfits. No soiling to faces or to Nancy's outfit, a hint of very light dustiness to front of Tubby Tom's colorful shirt. Both dolls retain their original paper hang tags attached to their wrists. Tubby still has his original $3.98 hang price tag, purchased from H.C. Capeweell Co. in the early 1950's. Nancy's cardboard box is crisp and clean. Tubby's box is intact with some minor creasing to the long sides and one long lid flap having ends detached where short flap meets long flap . Manufactured by Georgene Novelties, New York City. The boxes are marked "No. 6101" (Nancy) and "No. 1544" (Tubby Tom). Exceptional pair with virtually no apologies!
