Production of the Old Model Blackhawk .45 was between 1971-1973, this is a first year production gun. It sports a round blue barrel and ejector housing with ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight, fluted six shot blue cylinder, blue frame and walnut two piece grips with Ruger logo. Gun retains 97% of the original factory applied blue finish. Faint high edge wear and a slight cylinder drag line. Crisp single action that indexes and locks up tight. This gun has been updated with a hammer block. Includes spare parts that were replaced when the hammer block was installed; extra cylinder and grip frame. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Original factory box included.
