Comprising: A) Circa 1861-1865, typical Richmond style CS two piece brass sand-cast buckle. Wreath marked with Roman numerals "III" on back and front of wreath shows distinct sprue marks, as can be see in Plate 012 and Plate 009 of "Confederate Belt Buckles and Plates" by Steve Mullinax. Complete with leather "bullet" stitched belt. Buckle has a dark unpolished patina and shows some wear. Belt is in two pieces and is missing a small section, surface is crazed with some minor cracking. B) unmarked confederate cartridge box of black leather, complete with strap. Flap has had a large piece cut from the lower right corner, otherwise good with crazed surfaces and some minor losses to finish. Some stitching loose and some tears. A nice ensemble of Confederate leather items.
