This is a rare embossed aluminum cast cash register with slight details of gold, a wooden base and wooden cash drawer of the early 1900's, manufactured by St. Louis Cash Register Co.. It is complete with a pop-up number indicator set behind glass, one lever that moves vertically between 5 to 95 which indicates the amount of cents and an auxiliary lever that indicates amount of dollars from 1 to 4. Drawer remains unlocked and there were no keys provided. Has certainly aged with time, showing significant wear and appears to have small brush strokes of white paint across the center. Style No. 42. Serial No. 11601.
