Approximately 9,000-12,000 manufactured with a channel cut along the top of the loading lever. This gun is military inspected as are nearly all of this series. A vast majority manufactured to fire the .46 caliber rimfire metallic cartridge. The majority of metal parts have military inspection marks with the exception of the cylinder. Left walnut grip panel has visible but not readable cartouche. Standard features include full octagon barrel, blue finish, solid frame, six shot, single action, two piece walnut grips and brass trigger guard. This revolver retains about 90% of the dulling reapplied blue, probably performed at time of conversion. Very good walnut grips have the usual dings. Indexes and locks up correctly with strong rifled bore.
