Round smoothbore steel barrel with faceted breech. Rounded steel banana lockplate decorated with fine scrolls at tang, converted to percussion. Full length walnut stock with silver nose cap and profusely decorated with engraved silver leaf inlays and vine style wire decoration. Relief cast silver furniture, buttcap with grotesque mask and pierced sideplate featuring game and a hunting dog. Pierced brass trigger. Very good condition, lock and barrel retain a grey patina with some light scattered marks from use and freckling. Stock good with only a few minor pieces of silver wire missing, a couple minor repairs around lockplate and some scattered marks from use. This is a very nice example of high quality eastern craftsmanship.
