This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/16/2017
A first rate example of an open mouth child manufactured in the early 20th century by the Kammer & Reinhardt firm. Marked on rear of head "K*R 53", dressed in his black velvet suit with matching hat, blue glass eyes (stationary), a blond mohair wig and white leather shoes with matching socks. Great bisque with good uniform coloring; he is on a fully jointed composition child body that retains its original finish. Overall a nice package and ready for display. Mohair wig glued tight to head but carefully inspected and there appear to be no hairlines, eye chips, cheek rubs or damage to the bisque head.
Item Dimensions: 20 - 1/2" T.
