Factory letter states that this revolver was shipped September 6th, 1922 to Moore Handley Co. of Orlando, Florida. Shipped with 6 - 1/2" barrel, nickel finish, butt swivel and checkered non-medallion walnut grips. Matching numbers on barrel and cylinder. Pre-war diamond checkered walnut grips fit well but are not numbered. Built on the large square butt N frame with five screw, six shot and double action. Revolver retains approximately 75% original factory nickel that blends evenly with gray patina. Smooth trigger and checkered hammer. Indexes well with a strong clean bore. Interestingly, this civilian revolver has a Springfield eagle stamped in to the frame indicating leftover World War I frame.
