Factory letter states this revolver was shipped March 10th, 1917 to A. Baldwin Co. of New Orleans with nickle finish and checkered walnut grips. The letter further states that manufacture ended in 1915 and this gun was sold out of remaining inventory. 15,376 Triple Locks were manufactured from 1908-1915. They were built on the N frame with five screws. Matching numbers on cylinder and barrel. This revolver remains in untouched all original condition retaining over 90% original nickel finish and case colored hammer and trigger. The gold medallion diamond checkered walnut grips have the matching number in pencil on right panel. Inside left grip frame is stamped "9.41" and there is a star on the butt indicating this revolver was factory refinished in September 1941. Indexes and locks up like new with fine, near mint bore. All factory legends are sharp. A very handsome Triple Lock.
