The National Automatic Machine Co. created this floor model penny scale in 1929. It features a nicely refinished red metal cabinet with black pinstripe detail, brass platform, and glass front. To operate, patrons step on the scale and then drop a penny into the coin slot. The dial will then spin around to their weight in pounds. After stepping off the scale, the penny drops through a pin field and is either returned to the patron or rolls through a set of ramps, ringing the "Normandy Chimes" as it rolls into the cash box. A beautiful scale that works wonderfully. Without keys.
