Factory letter states this revolver was shipped Aug 31st, 1973 to Outdoors Sports HDQ Inc. of Dayton, Ohio with a 4" barrel, blue finish and checkered target grips. The Model 58 was introduced in 1964 and is built on the square butt three screw N frame. It is a six shot high polish blue finish, with red ramp front sight, fixed rear sight and case colored hammer and trigger. Indexes correctly with fine bore. Has a light drag line and some high edge wear. Grips are excellent to near mint. This model was popular with police departments. Approximately 20,287 manufactured and getting harder to find in nice condition.
