The Model 37 is a five shot, double action revolver built on the J alloy frame with round butt. Introduced in 1951. Gun has steel barrel and cylinder with alloy frame. Manufactured 1962-1964. Features pre-1966 flat latch, pinned barrel, case colored hammer and trigger, and black disk silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips with matching serial number on right panel. This early Model 37 has a hint of muzzle wear and a couple of storage spots, retaining 99% original finish. Grips are near mint with one minor scratch, brilliant case colors on hammer and trigger. In near new condition inside and out.
