Factory letter states this target revolver was shipped September 11th, 1958 to Sargent Sowell Co. of Grant Prairie, Texas with 6" barrel, blue finish and checkered walnut square butt grips. Grips are diamond checkered with black disk and numbered to another gun. This revolver features early flat latch, target sights, case colored target trigger and hammer, with a pinned barrel and recessed chamber. This revolver was built on the square butt improved I frame introduced in 1953 with Patridge front sight and micrometer rear. Gun has light scratch in right side of frame and some minor high edge wear. 97% finish and excellent grips. Fine bore and action.
