Predecessor to the famous Colt Python, introduced in 1953 and manufactured in 1961. Features six shot, double action, ramp front sight, adjustable target rear sight, Python style target hammer, serrated trigger, with the fully checkered oversized walnut grips and silver medallion. This pair of grips is identical with those used on early Colt Python with the one exception being silver medallions instead of gold. Retains 70% original factory blue with usual wear on all high spots, thinning on cylinder, and barrel. Grips are excellent. Fine action and bore.
