After Gottlieb was purchased by Columbia Pictures, this game was based off of their 1977 movie Close Encounters of The Third Kind and was their first pursuit in hopes to gain success as one company. There were only 470 units of this electro-mechanical version produced in 1978 and features artwork by Gordon Morison. With 5 balls per game and 2 plays per quarter, there are two flippers and one spinning target with pop bumpers scoring 100 points each. The playing field is brilliant with a like-new appearance, the top right corner reads "We Are Not Alone." There is minor peeling on the left corner of the backglass and above the 2nd players score reel. Aside from the slight wear, it is phenomenal throughout. No key provided.

Condition: (Very Good).
