Standard Civil War issues, U.S. military marked Remington revolver, features solid frame, six shot, octagon barrel, blue finish, walnut grips and brass trigger guard. The revolver retains approximately 90% of the reapplied blue finish. Legends are readable but some feathering. One-third of the cylinder has some severe salt and pepper corrosion. Brass has been polished. Fine action and strong bore. This would be the perfect gun to drop in an aftermarket .44 caliber conversion cylinder which would make this an original and fun shooter.
